Terms & Conditions

All goods offered for sale by Atlas Paints LTD (“the company”) are subject to the following terms and conditions:

  1. PRICE. Orders are accepted on the condition that goods will be supplied at the company’s prices current at the date of dispatch. The company’s price will always supersede price on customers’ purchase orders unless otherwise agreed. Prices are subject to change.
  2. RETURNS. Returns of wrongly ordered goods will only be accepted for credit at our discretion and only by prior arrangement. We do not give cash refunds. We do not give credit notes without a proof of purchase. Returns of stock items must be made within 7 working days. All returns may be subject to a handling charge of 20% of the sale price. Goods will only be accepted for credit if they are in their original, unused and undamaged condition, and accompanied by the appropriate delivery/advice note. We do not accept returns of any sample pots. RETURNS OF COLOURS TINTED TO ORDER WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR CREDIT UNLESS THEY ARE FAULTY. SPECIAL ORDERS (i.e. orders for goods not stocked and especially obtained for a customer): In some cases once the company has accepted the order it cannot be cancelled or returned for credit in whole or in part. Please note that most wallpaper manufacturers do not accept any returns. Special orders that can be accepted for return are subject to a 20% handling fee and a return carriage charge, which is dependent on weight. Some Farrow & Ball products that have been ordered specially can only be returned by prior arrangement within 14 days from the date they were received at SG Bailey Paints Ltd. Some products such as lime wash, distempers and sample pots cannot be returned. In all cases you must provide a dated proof of purchase. Please ask staff for details.

  3. CLAIMS. Claims with respect to faulty goods must be made within three working days of receipt of goods. All goods supplied by the company are of a quality suitable for the purpose intended. Technical information is given in good faith. Goods are sold without warranty or guarantee as to their suitability for any specific purpose whether or not the purpose is known to the company. It is for the customer to decide as to the product suitability. The company is unable to control the method of application, the skill of the applicator, the site conditions or the storage conditions of the product once it has left our care. The liability of the company will not exceed the value of the goods supplied. Loss of profits and consequential financial losses are excluded. A refund will be subject to a mutual agreement that the goods are faulty which may in some circumstances require scientific, chemical or visual analysis of the product and the method and place of application.

  4. CUSTOMER CONDITIONS. Special conditions on customers order forms will be accepted as binding, providing they are not at variance with our terms and conditions.

  5. HEALTH AND SAFETY AND TECHNICAL DATA. The company will supply health and safety data on request. If you require such information please inform the company.

  6. ORDER CUT-OFF TIMES: Order cut-off for next day delivery is 4.00pm. We must have time to process and check the order, and if necessary make and check the paint. Our vans leave by 8.00am.

  7. DELIVERY: We deliver in our own vans to Gloucestershire, Bristol, North Somerset, North Wiltshire, South Worcestershire and South Herefordshire. Many deliveries are free subject to meeting a minimum order value. There is a small delivery charge for some orders. Outside of these areas delivery can be arranged through an external courier and will be charged at cost. Please ask staff for details or look on our website atlaspaints.co.uk

  8. COLLECTION: There is up to a 4-hour turnaround to collect. We will text you when your order is ready in our collection shed, which can also be accessed out of hours with a combination code (please ask for details). Please check the colour and the product are correct before use. No liability will be accepted under any circumstances for loss or inconvenience caused by supply of incorrect product.
