Acousti-Coat applied at high film thickness(25 mils +) provides you with a quieter, noise reductive, surface; thereby, cutting down on the transfer of voice generated noise throughout a room enclosure … an important aspect in maintaining a safe, quiet environment.

Acousti-Coat has unsurpassed noise reduction capabilities, providing a quiet surface, along with a degree of insulation properties; thus, cutting down on noise transfer factors. Its unique shock-absorbing quality provides you with a comfortable, anti-fatigue, user-friendly surface which eliminates the hard ceilings and other substrate surfaces replacing them with softer more resilient surfaces. This significantly slows or dampens the reverberation or “echo” effect noticeable in most vanilla box type room construction, therefore lowering the overall volume of a room. Elasotmerics are a form of rubberized surface…rubberized surfaces provide noise transfer abatement(characteristic of all rubber materials). Instead of rubberized products (tiles, heat seam sealed, glued down rubber roll applied ect…) that have inherent shortcomings in that they have seams that can entrap foreign matter and/or trip-fall in relation to mats; seamlessly applied rubber/elastomeric coatings have no seams and are ideal as an underlayment over which tile, carpet, laminate flooring ect… can be laid as well as a stand alone rubberized seamless safety surfacing with various textures, colors providing flooring that exceeds OSHA & ADA skid-slip resistance guidelines. Acousti-Coat is used as a low coat flooring underlayment that provides good performance with both impact and airborne noise reduction. This product will help in decoupling walls and ceilings. Installation is done with a commercial/airless sprayer with use of 317/417 or 517 tip and done to approx 25-30 mils dry film thickness minimum. It is a FACT that elastomeric rubber coatings help with interior room noise reduction and significantly increase the Noise Reduction Coefficient rating within a room, and Acousti-Coat is the only GreenGuard certified/indoor air quality certified product on the market today.
